Tessa completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Distinction from the University of Otago in 2017. She has gained her credential status in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cred.MDT). In 2023 Tessa completed training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and is available to assess and treat pre and post-natal mothers, people with incontinence issues or pelvic dysfunction.
Prior to Physiotherapy, Tessa completed a Bachelor of Health Science with a major in Sport and Exercise from Massey University in 2014. She is also a qualified Pilates Instructor from Core Pilates NYC and has been teaching both reformer and mat Pilates for the past 9 years.
Tessa is passionate about musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has a strong focus on exercise prescription to aid in injury recovery and for injury prevention. Tessa enjoys working with people of all fitness and activity levels and helping people to get back to the activities they enjoy.
