Originally from South Africa, Marizaan graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2022 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has recently made the move to beautiful New Zealand and based herself in Wellington. She is passionate about working with people and helping them return to full function so that they can achieve their goals, whether that’s getting back to everyday life or reaching peak performance in sport.

As a sports enthusiast, she understands the physical and mental demands of an active lifestyle. Marizaan has completed two Ironman 70.3 races and enjoys getting onto the trails for a change of scenery. This provides her with a unique insight into sports injury recovery and performance optimisation.

Marizaan is committed to ongoing learning and growth, and is always looking to expand her skills to provide the best care possible.
