Jess grew up in Paremata and has been a member of the InForm Physio team since 2025. She graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (with distinction) in 2024 and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology in 2021.

Throughout her studies, Jess gained valuable experience in managing acute musculoskeletal injuries, neurological rehabilitation, and elderly health, a field where she discovered a deep passion for working with older adults. She finds great joy in helping elderly clients improve their mobility, independence, and overall well-being, believing that everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.

During her time at university, Jess was awarded the Margaret Thatcher Trophy for her group project, "Restricted Literature Review: The Prevalence of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome among Māori and Pacific Island Meat Factory Workers." She is currently working towards her McKenzie Institute Credentialing Programme and Orthopaedic Manual Therapy certification. Jess is also an active member of the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association (NZMPA), serving as a junior executive member. In addition, she is a qualified fitness instructor with experience teaching strength-based and HIIT-based fitness classes.

As a physiotherapist, Jess focuses on delivering compassionate, holistic, and person-centred care to improve health outcomes for individuals and their whānau.

Outside of work, Jess maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys gardening in her spare time.
