Diagnosing sports injuries to lower limbs requires expert skill
Injuries to lower limbs make up a large proportion of sporting injuries. Evaluation of your injury includes clinical biomechanical evaluations involving static, weight bearing and dynamic gait analysis to identify the issue and the appropriate treatment.
This may include working with an InForm Physio physiotherapist as well as being given ways to manage your rehabilitation at home.
Minor podiatric surgery without going to hospital
Clinical services include the diagnosis and palliative treatment of acute and chronic skin and nail conditions, like corns, calluses, and verrucae. Surgical correction of ingrown toenails and removal of verrucae are performed under local anesthesia.
Orthotic management
Persistent foot, knee, hip and back pain may be biomechanical in nature. Functional foot orthoses can be a useful treatment option. Orthotics help guide the foot through proper functions, allowing the muscles and tendons to perform more efficiently and effecting a change in the biomechanics of the lower limb.
